Fehler bei Testinstallation in MariaDB

Ich versuche gerade eine Testinstallation von OTOBO auf einem frisch aufgesetzten Debian.

Leider hänge ich bei dem Schritt 7 in der Installationsanleitung „Datenbank anlegen“

Das anmelden mit „mysql -u root“ funktioniert.

Folgende Befehle funktionieren nicht:

update mysql.user set authentication_string=password(‚NewRootPassword‘) plugin=’mysql_native_password‘ where user=’root‘;

zeigt ERROR 1064:

ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ‚plugin=’mysql_native_password‘ where user=’root“ at line 1

die Alternativ genannten Befehle:

UPDATE mysql.user SET password = PASSWORD(‚NewRootPassword‘) WHERE user = ‚root‘;

UPDATE mysql.user SET authentication_string = “ WHERE user = ‚root‘;

UPDATE mysql.user SET plugin = ‚mysql_native_password‘ WHERE user = ‚root‘;

zeigen ERROR 1356:

ERROR 1356 (HY000): View ‚mysql.user‘ references invalid table(s) or column(s) or function(s) or definer/invoker of view lack rights to use them

DB Version ist MariaDB 10.5.9

Wie kann ich die Datenbank einrichten, damit der OTOBO Installer funktioniert?

In MariaDB 10.4+ ist mysql.user nur noch ein View, keine originäre Tabelle. Kannst Du es mal mit dem „SET PASSWORD“-Befehl probieren: https://mariadb.com/kb/en/set-password/

Ich habs auf die Art gelöst:

ALTER USER ‚root’@’localhost‘ IDENTIFIED BY ’newpassword‘;

Vielleicht hat jemand das gleiche Problem.

Die Installation hat dann funktioniert. Danke!
